We love the LFG2 for this review. LFG2 is even better than the original LFG. Not only are the two hydraulically resistant cables 40% higher capacity, but V-Fit have also incorporated a double pulley system which gives the user more freedom of movement when lifting weights. It increases freedom of movement with exercises like chest flies or rear laterals, in addition to double the number of exercises for all other muscles in comparison with the original LFG – one of the most popular home gyms in Europe.
We’ve been testing this machine (and the original LFG) for a while now for this review and we can confirm that it is an excellent piece of kit. It is incredibly stable, and offers a great range of exercises making it so much more than just a home bench press. The ‘lay flat’ design makes it very comfortable and the multiple positions allow users to really work those muscles and exercise all options. And as for those that would suggest that it’s just not as effective as weight training in a gym, well then I’m sorry to burst your bubble but if you’re looking for an alternative to going to the gym then look no further than this piece of equipment as I would only compare it favourably with the best we have reviewed!

The build quality is quite good for the price, with decent 5kg weight plates to match up with the adjustable bench. Whenever I need a piece of gym equipment it’s always V-fit or nothing. The Herculean multi gym is really very good as I have used it myself and seen people putting some amazing numbers on some of the exercises. And quality is superb as well which you’ll see from some of the other reviews on there.
It is with a heavy heart that I must sell my V-Fit Herculean multi gym. It has been a great machine with so many features and attachments to keep me in the best shape possible, but with a baby on the way, I have decided it’s time to upgrade to a garage gym setup. In case you’re not aware of what this is, basically it’s just an attachment to your door which allows you to add all sorts of attachments when using the machine. Plus with two LFGs side by side you can allow your partner/spouse/friend use it when you’re not for a great price or better yet build a home gym in your garage or home!
